Ariane Lauer is the Founder and Designer of HEIRLOOM PAVÉ. Her world has always been surrounded by art.
Most of her early childhood memories consist of creating and getting her hands dirty alongside her father. Observing him sift through building plans and transform a vision to a reality. Witnessing the building process from inception to full construction and development, really set the stage for her appetite of creation. Whether it be new or old, creating beauty which extends beyond the visual experience to a deeper realm of consciousness is her beacon, and is the true essence of Heirloom Pavé.
Born in Mesa, Ariz., she then continued to live in Germany, Mexico, and five different states throughout the United States as an adolescent. It’s this, diverse geographical lens that has influenced her ever evolving artistry.
Ariane's first love was pen and paper. Prior to entering the jewelry industry, she was a mural artist and floral designer. One of Ariane's design clients was a well known jeweler in the San Francisco Diamond District, and lended the opportunity to join his team and learn the industry. Shortly after exploring this new art, she fell in love with the process of designing and creating one-of-a-kind pieces with her clientele. Ariane has since dedicated herself to learning the jewelry making process from beginning to end, and apprenticed for five years with a third generation Master Jeweler.
She prides herself in offering the highest quality, unique custom designs and rare vintage and antique jewelry.
Ariane is currently based in NYC with her son, who is her motivation and young apprentice.
